In case you're wondering why many of my old deviantations have been re-uploaded, is because that 52 of the 64 I previously had up were deleted. Due to what deviantART labelled as a breech of copyright.

I have decided to re-upload most of my old deviantations, simply beause 50% of deviantART is copyright infringement. People use characters that have been created by others everyday. Every piece of fan art, whether it's a story, poem, drawing, manip, video whatever, uses either an idea, image, wording or something that has been thought up by someone else. If deviantART want to make every piece of art on the site original and not copyrighted, that's fine. But they can't just delete some random pieces of work.

I know for a fact I'm not the only person this has happened to. Several other manip markers have had many brilliant pieces deleted. Is it fair? Some pieces take 6 hours+ to make, is it right that those pieces should be deleted with warning?

I'm not saying the people should be allowed to submit ot 'tweak' other people's artwork. Which I am positive I have NEVER done. If had been stealing artwork, then the removal of my devianttations would have been perfectly justified. As I've said, editing, blending, changing colour, tone and adding other effects is hard and time consuming and shouldn't be deleted randomly.

I have read deviantART's copyright policy several times and understood it and call me stupid, disrespectful or whatever, but I'm re-uploading my stuff. DeviantART would find their time better spent by hunting down art thieves, spammers and fixing system bugs

Sorry for ranting, but I am majorly pissed off. At this point I don't care if the world think s I'm wrong, but I needed to vent ><
